Lights Out

Lights Out is a strategic puzzle played on a 5×5 grid of buttons or lights. The objective is to turn off all the lights using the fewest moves possible. Each move involves clicking on a single light, which toggles the state of that light as well as its four immediate neighbors—those directly above, below, to the left, and to the right. Diagonal neighbors are not affected. Some lights start in the “on” position, and the challenge is to determine the optimal sequence of presses to illuminate none of the lights.
